High Def TV

When we re-started our cable in Florida we were able to get HD TV by adding an HDMI cable to the box. The cable is on the outside of the wall and I would like to snake it inside the wall to the cable box. There is about a 3' horizontal run with about a 2' vertical. How best do I accomplish this? There are other cables running through this wall but can't figure out to run this cable.

As I read it we are discussing an HDMI cable. These are about the worst cables to pull through existing work. BTDT & have the t-shirt.
In my case I cut the existing paneling @ the edges of the cabinets. I ran the HDMI cable first (DO NOT DO IT LAST) I used 12awg building wire as a tag line, cut it 2ยฝ times the run.
Bead chain with a nut for weight & a strong magnet to find it can be a great aid for this type of work.

Good luck in getting it done.

Along the lines of fat chance. The mfgr likes to bundle cables and tie them up. I have ten cables inside my roof that I would like to remove but there is no way that can be done.

On the odd chance you can actually tug and pull one of the cables, then taping the new cable might work but keep in mind if things get stuck, you may lose the pulling cable as well.

Disconnect one of the current cables and tape the HDMI cable and a string to it. Pull the cable out. Attach that cable to the string and pull it back.
If you think you might have a need to do it again use two strings to have one available to pull another wire in the future.
