Can you explain how to pin it to my task bar, or even the start menu? My AT&T wireless modem went on the blink last night but after a couple of disconnects and resets it finally came back on line with the Internet. But now I don't have the little icons in the lower right corner of my screen that shows if/which Internet connection I have. I'd like to get them back if possible.

I lose my Firefox icon every once in a while. It tends to go missing on occasion after an update. You can get it back easily by just doing a search for Firefox, then dragging the icon to your desktop. You can optionally pin it to your taskbar or start menu if you so desire.
1. Type Firefox in Search and hit ENTER.
2. In Search results, click on Firefox icon and drag to your Desktop.

Sorry, I always seem to forget the pertenant information. I'm using an HP laptop running the older Vista system. Firefox usually does automatic updates but have no idea what happened here. I got an earlier not that Firefox would update the next time Firefox was closed but I was still using it Monday. Tuesday morning when I went to use the computer I had to log on again, which is unusual since I generally just Hybernate when quitting for bedtime each night and just hit the On button the next day.
If I just download a new Firefox will I lose all my Bookmarks from the old Firefox? Downloading a new Firefox is all I get whenever I do Search in the box at the Start screen and was my first thought but didn't want to lose everything from my current program.
When the icon didn't work I tried the programs down the left side of the Start screen but just keep getting the same message that it had either moved or changed and was no longer available.

For some reason my Firefox browser icon on the Start screen doesn't work any more, so how do I access my browser without the Shortcut icon? Need help desperately.
