Ios 8.1 out today

Added Apple Pay, and fixed a bunch of reported problems.
It fixed my IPads Safari browser problems. yeah!
I hear 8.2 and 8.3 aren't far behind.

DId the upgrade without thinking about it. Only issue so far is with OS7 when it paired with my hearing aids it was in stereo. The up grade down graded that to mono. Hope they fix that snafu.

I like the new Flickr app on my iPad with 8.1.

Used APPLE PAY twice earlier today. VERY SLICK! Worth going to 8.1 all by itself.

I meant to click later, I started the upgrade instead. Once it started there was no way out. I am never the first, but usually early adopter since I can handle most of the teething issues of an upgrade.

Yep, total disappointment on my iPad. Worst thing you can't go back. As a new Apple cheerleader I am completely disappointed in my expearance lately. The keyboard is a complete joke when entering text and numbers and heard rumors that Apple was going to give you some options. Didn't happen.

Apple has definitely lost its way after Jobs passed. They used to make sure they where nearly bug free before releasing, now they are rushing junk out the door microsoft style. I accidentally allowed my 5s to upgrade to iOS8, so now I am stuck updating to each patch. I wish I had waited a bit till they got it nearly bug free in whatever 8.x version that turned out to be.

Well I sure hope they fixed some of the problems they caused with 8.0.2.
My iPhone 5 has been a total frustration since I "upgraded" to that. It worked perfect before and now it has all kinds of problems. Nearly winged it into a lake a couple days ago.....

What ever. :R Its working great for me. 8.2 & 8.3 are to add more functions, not just to fix bugs that may pop up.
Just used Apple Pay to pay for my Subway sandwich. Couldn't be easier, and I'm looking forward to when Costco, and other gas stations start using it. Just hold the phone up to the reader, and use the fingerprint scan, that's it your done.

then there's no reason to upgrade to 8.1. even without 8.2 or 8.3 i'll wait as apple hasn't had a very good track record in 'getting it right the first time' lately. 8.11 is just as likely as 8.2
