long road trip

We are going on a long road trip an will be staying in a lot of campgrounds. My wife wants to use netflixs while we are in the camp grounds. In the past the wifi signals are very weak. Will a wifi hotspot work to make this possible. Has anyone solved this problem? All help or ideas welcome

We carry a whole bunch of DVD's for our evening entertainment.

Sorry to spoil your Karma, but $14 per gigabyte is NOT a good deal. If you tried to stream a 2 hour HD movie it would cost you almost $28. That's provided you could even get the thing connected since it's on the Sprint network which has very limited 4G LTE coverage and on 3G backup it would take hours to watch any movie.

We have been traveling across country since August. We left Virginia and now in Oregon. We have Verizon hotspot for the internet. I have tried to use the campgrounds Wifi just to update my apps on our phones and had success only in two campgrounds. I can see on rvpark reviews why so many people complain about wifi in the campgrounds. Just my observation.

She is dreaming - a air card will be very expensive and people using Netflix in campground is what kills it for everybody else and hence no campground internet is any good

Certainly not speaking for everyone but my "hot spot" sucks. I have US cellular what a waste of money that thing is.. If you are not in a coverage zone and roaming you will get such slow speeds that it's not worth even turning it on. If you are in a cover zone it works intermittently. Just a peace of junk.
