Getting ready to start my trip to Canada. I will be staying in somesites without services. What is the proceedure for setting up?

Make sure you have fresh water in your tank, propane tanks are full, generator is operational and that the reefer is stocked with beer!!! And enjoy.

If you'll be dry camping or boondocking all you have to do is turn off the key and you're set up. 🙂 That's why we enjoy dry camping so much. It's super easy.

You must have a specific problem/question in mind though. Could you explain it more fully?

Always ask for a "pull thru" site when calling ahead for a CG.

That way you don't have to unhook the toad just for the night. AND easy in and easy out in a 'pull thru' site.

If you mean setting up the rig to travel with a towed?
You have some starts here.

If you mean setting up in a boondock site, then all there should be is leveling the coach and then continually reminding all those onboard that you now have limited water and electric power. You had best keep a close eye in both of those. You don't say how long you will be at 0HU sites. If it will be more than a day, you better find a place to dump the black and grey, and take on full potable and fuel.

Most of all, relax and be ready to deal with the issues that arise, none should be life threatening.

And I forgot that you will also need a wiring harness. Up that cost to around $3,500 now if you buy all new pieces and get them professionally installed. If you can find some of them used you will get off cheaper.

Congrats and welcome to rv.net. Your RV probably has a hitch. Your will have to buy:

For your RV: an hitch extension and ball

For your 'toad': A base plate, brake away cable, tow bar and brake assist device.

There are various brands out there. You can install these items yourself or take them to a qualified installer. You will spend between $1,500 and $3000 to get this done.
