Newb question: Stranger approaches your RV

you just pulled into a new campground and setup your lawn chairs next to rv and sat down and are relaxing. Around the corner comes a complete stranger with a really big grin on his face. He is really nice. he introduces himself and tells you how nice your rv is. You may engage in a conversation for a bit. he then tells he has a bathroom emergency and asks you if he can use your Rv bathroom. What is your response?

Would your response change if the person was the sweetest old lady you just met?

share your response or any stories you may have?

I would calmly explain to him that as soon as he entered the coach, my chihuahua would tear off his feet at the ankles. Not a chance of me letting him in.

I did it once for a young lady in 1978. We were parked in a rest area on US 11 in the middle of no where in Mississippi. I knew that there were no restrooms for miles. She was most thankful.
I have my doubts today, but circumstances could change my mind.

I can't help but giggle at your username "RV2Go" Hahahahahaha!

I would let them use my toilet....NOT! I think I would be watching their next move too. Might need to let the campground owners/employees know. I would have to say someone is up to no good.

We allowed a young woman in our 5th wheel to use our bathroom about 5 years ago. We were at a tailgate for a Jimmy Buffett concert and the public bathrooms were overflowing and stinky. I knew that we didn't have anything in the 5th wheel worth pilfering. Would DH and I do it again? Maybe. Ask me after this year's Buffett concert! 🙂

This might change my mind, if it were an elderly person or a mother with a child. I'd be standing right outside the door though.

I'm usually very friendly to my fellow campers and am usually treated the same in return. However, I would never ask anyone to use their TT's bathroom - I'd simply say excuse me, but I really need to find the restroom.

It's really an ignorant/arrogant thing to ask of someone IMHO. The answer is always sorry, but no.

Just as if a 'stranger' knocks on the door at home, my dogs 'explain' the rules to them.

How many times have you been approached in a parking lot by a men or women who state that they are running low on fuel, and need some money for fuel, to get home with there new baby. For some reason there credit card does work, so if you could spare a few dollars, I would greatly appreciate it.
2 times in the last week this has happened to me and the wife.
As for using your camper, NO REALLY, in fact NO WAY.

We've had this happen several times. Around here they will sit near the on/off ramp in their older rv with a sign that they need money for fuel to get home! Poor planning?

How many ways can you say no? No way! Their either have their own unit or there are campground facilities available.... and if all else fails, there's a bush.

Sorry. No strangers come in my house and none go in my house on wheels.
