What do you use as a toolbox that you keep in/with your camper? Something that holds/organizes stuff like screwdrivers/hammer/pliers/spare bulbs/fuses/etc, that doesn't take up a lot of room in the pass through storage areas and that is heavy duty plastic so it won't rust if it gets wet?

I use the cheap Harbor Freight boxes. They have the bins for spare parts.

I have a tool bag as well. I find all of the pockets to be a huge benefit for being able to find screw drivers ect when I need them. IMHO tool bag>tool box

I use a fabric tool pouch that I got at Lowe's that is made to fit in a 5-gallon plastic bucket. It keeps my tools organized and has room inside to drop in more tools or project supplies.

I also use a bag like this, it stores all the things I need plus I try to get as compact as possible by using multiuse tools.
Instead of a full wrench set I have a set of These and These 4 wrenches that cover almost all I will need and they are US Made.

All very compact

I use one similar to this also (think I got mine at Sears). The inside holds all the big tools, while, the pockets are good for the things I use the most and the smaller tools and test meters. I also have a socket and wrench set that has its own plastic case that opens like a book with 1/4 and 3/8" sockets along with open and box end wrenches (Stanley set; metric and SAE). I've got some other tools that are stashed elsewhere, like my Lincoln rechargeable grease gun, and my air compressor attachments, but, most of my tools fit in the bag with room to spare.
My 2 cents, your mileage may vary...

I use to have a tool box similar to the kobalt in my passtrough. It had more than I needed in it. The camper was stolen so I had to start over. As I started acquiring new tools I was placing them in a decorative basket DW stowed in the overhead in the camper LR. Now I have 2 baskets of tools in there. I realized I didn't need a real tool box and this is working for me.

I too have the kobalt, Lowes had their biggest one on sale last week for 20 bucks. Works perfect, plus it has the upper compartment for smaller pieces (screws or fuzes) and it is made of plastic.

I carry one of these as well. There are a few tools that I keep int he TT at all times, a few of the common sockets and ratchet, an adjustable wrench, a couple screwdrivers and a box of fuses and lightbulbs. The rest comes with me on longer trips.

I have a normal tool box with all my travel trailer "specific" items in it. It's plastic, it's yellow, is a normal carpenter-mechanics tool box, I bought it from Lowe's. I carry it in the back of my pick-up truck bed (I have a locking shell), and it stays there permanently. I do have a few other odd-ball items in it. Sometimes you just never know what you may need.
