AC question

I have recently purchased a new 2016 Dutchmen Denali 325RL. About 2 weeks into an 8 week trip through the mid west, the AC would only cool to about 5 degrees below the outside temperature. And two other odd things occurred that I've not seen before in 30 years of RVing.

The AC fan never cuts off when the AC is on. The compressor seems to cycle on and off, but not the fan.

Also, when the furnace comes on, the AC fan comes on.

I have an appointment with the dealer next Monday but I'm curious if new campers has AC fans that never turn off and come on when the furnace is on. My previous 3 campers did not.

Try resetting your thermostat. Look up online on how to do it. Had an issue last year and had to reset ours and no problems since.

Should have mentioned that the AC fan is set to Auto with the AC on.

My AC is dometic and if the fan is set to hi or low instead of auto it will run as you describe including the furnace part.
