Andersen Leveler

I am thinking of picking these up for my new travel trailer. I am trying to keep some weight down and I thought this would be lighter than bringing stacks of wood. Does anybody have these? Are they really as easy to use as they look? I was able to read some review here http://www.amazon.com/Andersen-3604-Andersen-3604-Camper-Leveler/dp/B001GC2LVM but I would like to hear more about them.

The Anderson levelers are the best thing since "Bud Light".
I have the Anderson "Ultimate 5th wheel connection" hitch on my Ram 2500 and I also carry the full packet of levelers, jack pads and the "Rapid Jack". I find their products to be top quality and they perform as stated in their videos.

I had to remove 1" to make them fit.
Very easy mod.

Ok. The vid made it look like quite a drop.. driving off them.

I drive off the high ends and the front one just flips up between the tires. I did get one stuck one time when it did not flip up but I just slowly drove up and over and it was fine.

Do you drive off the 'high' end as shown in the vid? Either way it seems you'll end up with one between the tires that may take some very precise driving to remove it.. sans driving over it.

I was at my local tire dealer for a truck (tire) rotate and balance.
While waiting, I saw the video on these.
They were also selling the complete kit, #3600, which includes these plus 4 square pads, a curved jacking block and a mat to go in front of the entrance door.
And a carry bag for the whole kit.
A little expensive at $199.00, but well worth it I think.
Now I can unload some of the blocking I have carried and gain some storage space.

I've heard of folks trimming them down to fit between the wheels with no ill effects.
