Which is the best house AGM battery (for the money) to use for solar charging? Thanks

You might want to be aware of what float voltage is required for any particular AGM battery you buy, as they don't all float at the same voltage. Actually, the float battery for any lead acid RV battery is temperature dependent, so AGM manufacturers sometimes publish a chart showing their recommended float voltages versus the temperatures you'll be camping in.

For instance: 12V Lifeline AGM batteries are to be floated (in nominal temperatures) at 13.2 volts to 13.4 volts, while 12V Rolls AGM batteries are to be floated (in nominal temperatures) at 13.5 volts to 13.8 volts.

If you want to keep your current charger, then you should pick an AGM battery that requires a float voltage that matches your charger's output voltage during float.

We have a single 150AH Lifeline. I wanted it because the input current is greater and it is virtually trouble free.

I got a better price from my local auto parts stoe (friend) than an equivalent from Costco, etc.

Yes AGM batteries are cool, but at 4 times the price and not being serviceable? I would only buy one if my trailer had an indoor battery or the battery was a pain to access.

You might want to investigate the "for the money" comment you mentioned...

I use Lifelines in my set up and am very pleased with their performance.

Best? Lifeline or Rolls Surrette

That said I purchased Fullriver which cost less and have been serviceable.

Lifeline has a five-year pro-rated warranty with free replacement the first year. Rolls Surrette and Fullriver have a five-year warranty with a two-year free replacement, followed by a three-year pro-rated period.
