When the Battery Disconnect lever is set to OFF, does this mean the battery is connected?

In so doing, Battery Disconnect lever is select to ON, so this means the battery is disconnected?

Don't know what switch you are using but correctly it should be open and closed.

Closed = power flows thru

Open = the circuit does not allow power to flow

Typically 'OFF' would be an open circuit and the battery is disconnected.
If you are plugged in or the RV is in use you should have the switch on.

A real easy way to find out. Turn on a light in the trailer (when not plugged in to 120 VAC), then switch the disconnect to ON or OFF.
