A few more, if you can stand them- the first was labeled "New Trailer 1947":

The next 2 are the same year, in a Flint, Mi trailer park, winter and summer:

Back in the mid 50's I remember a few kids coming to school in our small town whose family lived in a "trailer house". Generally these kids father was a construction worker and the family rarely stayed for more than a few months. I especially remember a girl that played a soprano saxophone when I was in junior high. All of these kids were really friendly and I remember missing them when they moved on.

That's really nifty. A dinette that becomes a tub, kerosene furnace/ stove, a tow dolly, and all built right around WWII era. No wonder they are called the greatest generation.

As an aside I wonder how many of us were bit by the camper/RV bug in childhood like OP's adorable DW? My grandparents took us camping in a 1970's era Executive. How are you going to keep 'em in a tent after that? ๐Ÿ™‚

Cool. Did you get into the built in bar?

My grandparents took us in a 1970 18 foot Skylark.

To the op. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

FWIW, the trailer had kerosene stove and furnace, honey pot toilet, and a bath tub built in to the dinette. No 12 volt, no propane.
What year was that?

We're thinking 1944 or 1945.

The only time I've ever seen one of those towing dollies for the trailer was in the Lucille Ball movie, Long Long Trailer.
