The camper we are considering has night only shades and we really like day/night shades. If I can't get them as part of my deal I want to get an idea of getting this myself. Anyone know where to get these for a reasonable price? Tks
I finally gave up restringing my blinds and decided to get new ones. I ordered mine from this lady after speaking with her on the phone. Here's a link to her website. I'm not affiliated with her, but I do recommend her blinds.
There is nothing in an RV that is RV specific. Everything can be replaced for less money (than Camping World) and better quality, by shopping at home improvement stores, hardware stores, online sellers, and item specific vendors/retailers.
There are a lot of different brands of these types of shades. I agree...do a web search to see if you can find them other places than Camping World and any RV manufacturer/dealer.
In the past 3 weeks I have placed two online orders from Camping World and received each order in no more than 3 days each time (and I chose "regular" delivery speed). Recommend you check their website.
I've ordered them from this company twice ( two different RVs) http://www.rvpartsnation.com/product/1083/day-night-shades. They're much better than the original equipment -nicer material and sturdier with a blackout liner option. They're kind of expensive But I think that they're worth the money.
Original equipment on my Monaco came from Ascot Enterprises. I have replaced some of mine that were either soiled or losing pleats. I found their prices very reasonable.
