First post in this area. Have Outback trailer shown in signature. Tongue weight of about 450# if I remember right. Would like to replace crank jack with electric model. Darn the prices are expensive for those 2500# jobs. Suggestions anyone?

It can take a fair amount of power to break the hitch loose form the TV sometimes. A 2500# or higher will serve you well.
After you've installed it you'll realize it's the best money you've ever spent on your trailer!

I've never bought an electric tongue jack - why do you need a 2500# one?

Nodwell RN110 out moose hunting. 4-53 Detroit, Clark 5 spd, 40" wide tracks, 10:00x20 tires, 16,000# capacity, 22,000# weight. You know the mud is getting deep when it's coming in the doors.

Do a search for a factory reconditioned UltraFab 3500. You can get one for about $100 with the factory warranty. I have been using my UF 3500 for many years and it works great.
