Yes, I know it's a toad, the question was the horse power on the motorhome engine. I have a 35 foot DP with a 330 HP Cat and I want to make sure it can tow the truck okay before I buy one.

I have a 34' DP 275HP Cummins and pull a 4,680 lb(scale weight) MKS 3.5L 365 HP MKS with no problem.

Other then getting 1 MPG less then I did pulling a 3,300 lb HHR.
But 20% Bio could cause some of the loss. ๐Ÿ˜ž

What type of RV are you pulling it with? Horse power on the engine?

I believe he means that's what he's towing, not what he's towing with.

I can answer the HP question though as I have the same truck.

The 2.7 is 325 HP, 375 # torque. Mine is as light as they come (I have a Super Duty diesel, I bought this one to replace my car) and it's rated to tow 7,600 #. It's just a great truck so far and I'm averaging over 20 MPG in mixed driving. The 2.7 is a gem.

Ahh, sorry about that - my bad. I totally read that one backwards.

This getting old stuff is tough! :B

I think you can also pull up previous years.

I sometimes tow a 2014 Ford F-150. I haven't weighed it, but full of fuel and with the cap + bikes, etc., I'm sure it must weigh 6500lb. Fully loaded our 2009 Honda CRV weighs in at 3900 and I sure can notice the weight difference between the two!

I tow a 2011 Ford Ranger, automatic and 4WD. You must get a "transfer case neutral kit" a Ford only item. Cost me 400 bucks installed. It consists of a small orange light to tell you it is engaged....and requires one of the computers to be re-programmed.

(Blue-Ox baseplate and Roadmaster tow-bar. Magnetic lights on the roof)

No problems in 4 years, 2 coast to coast trips

We tow a 2014 F150 Super Crew with the 5.5' bed. Haven't put it on the scales but I can tell the difference between towing it and the 2012 Honda CRV we towed previously. We do love the F150.

We've also towed two Explorers in the past....a 2004 and a 2008. Both towed well with Ford's neutral tow gizmo installed.

I tow a 2012 Explorer, 4WD wt @ 4800#. Can't feel it and get about same gas mileage as when I towed my 04 Odyssey @ 4300#. Have about 10K mi on towing the Explorer. I have an RVi Brake system and use a chg wire to keep battery up.
