Girls RV camping night out (overnight)

It is my wife's turn to host a group of ladies for their book club and they decided to go camping this Friday night. What they typically do at their book club meeting is share dishes, appetizers, wines, on top of their book discussion.

The group consists of 7 ladies, so our Jayco 32 BHDS will be perfect for their night out.

Keep in mind there are no RVers or campers in the group, but they come from all professions and backgrounds and are strong willed, goal oriented, problem solvers.

My question is or my only doubt is the ability to start a campfire. Not a charcoal grill fire, but a wood fire for smores or simply to hang out.

I am not worried at all and know they will have a great time.

Oh... I will set up the Jayco by the time they get out of work.

You're worried they might not have the ability to start a campfire?:h

LOL, that's what I was thinking!

Well, that's what I mean. Sometimes, the goal trackers and problem solvers have the hardest time with what seems simple. I just want them to have a great experience.

Are you leaving them with two sticks to rub together? This thread is comical. It's a campfire I think they can figure it out. ๐Ÿ˜„

Cool!...I guess Mr. David P is an expert at campfires.

Dunno if applicable, but you might need to point out that no foreign objects except TP should go down the toilet.

Wally world has firestarter bricks, they're a sure way to start a campfire. Stack some logs, slide a brick under and light it.

I'm female, and somehow, mercy me, I've managed to start a campfire before. I think they'll be OK.

The inability to light a fire is not a gender related thing. Lots of men have no clue. You see them every weekend emptying a can of charcoal lighter into a fire with no results other than burning off the fluid as soon as it hits the wood.

Me too. I'm pretty sure they can handle it.

Do make sure your wife tells them to use plenty of water along with the TP.

Just buy a box of these fireplace logs. They work really well in a fire pit and all it takes is a match to get a fire.

Don't forget to leave instructions on using the RV Toilet. ๐Ÿ™‚

A can of lighter fluid or something similar will help with the camp fire.
