After seeing hundreds of bikers wearing gang colors in the area I found out that the "Banditos" motorcycle gang is holding a rally at Duck Creek near Bryce Canyon. They are everywhere around here. We are staying near Bryce and Zion. Rt. 14 is the main drag for Duck Creek.

Holiday is over, the Banditos were on 'private property' for their 'club meet'

i'm sure 90% of them are back at their 'day jobs' right now
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

get your money back from the camp ground and get away before they have a problem that could get you hurt.

the ha gangs are a very bad deal and they do not care who they hurt.

goto big 5 sportng goods
look for a pocket knife thats does Not have 'thumb assist'
most pocket knives now come with tabs/buttons that allow for fast opening with your thumb

'spring loaded' SWITCH BLADES
are not needed

thumb assist snaps open just as fast and totaly legal

I can picture that! Sounds like a good movie scene.

Where we have spent our last 2 summers, they have Blessing of the Bikes and in this tiny town (not Sturgis) there are thousands of bikes for the weekend with the blessing on Sunday. There may be a few drunks or couples spats, but with that many people no matter if they are a gang or not, there will be minor disturbances. Many of the gangs around here do a lot of benefit work and raise money for charities by participating in midnight runs, poker runs etc.

Banditos are a hard core club. Their business is their business so don't try to get involved, but as allready said don't bother them there should be no problems. Harleys are not quiet, mine isn't and they will probably be up late doing their thing among themselves. Jim.

LOL, I'm in my 70ies and the Banditos were active then. I don't think you need to worry, especially the ones my age.

All we have to do is circle the RV wagons, crank up the Lawrence Welk music AND.. point the bubble machine at them. They will surely pack up and leave.....LOLOL

I have no real knowledge of M/C gangs other than what is on the news. I don't really fear them as i pose no threat to them and I hope I don't have anything they want. My concern would be if things go bad with them and the law or another gang, it's not going to be a good place to be camped. If they party all night are you going to have a word with them about it? Or tell the camp host? I would just leave due to a medical issue at home. You could just stay and enjoy the view.

Listen folks, we must not let these MC gangs bully and intimidate us RV'ers. We must stick together and take the fight to them.

Lets mount-up on our fold-a-bikes, workman tricycles, golf carts, three-wheeled electric scooters, Vespa scooters etc, and show them who's boss.

Lets wear our Good Sam Club vests with KOA patches or our Members-Only jackets from JC Pennys 1970's collection. Probably should turn our hearing-aids all the way up so we have a tactical advantage. We can also put our little dogs in the forward baskets on the bikes or the rear basket on the golf carts so they can be our forward and rearward observers. We must not forget to wear our glasses as good vision is kind of important in a battle situation.

Lets Roll! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hmmm, kinda confused here. If these m/c gangs are all such fine upstanding citizens, only out for a weekend cruise, why do police depts nationwide as well as the fed gov't constantly try to infiltrate them? Maybe to learn their favorite beers? When my son was in the police academy (ALEA) in Phoenix they were warned there is a high concentration of outlaw (wonder why they use that word?) m/c gangs in the area. Specifically named the Hell's Angels, Mongels, and Banditos. Guess they just had to fill class time. Do some Google research. I have personally seen the Hells Angels take over a small town. I was there, on the street, when it happened. Not pretty. (kinda ironic it was a Labor Day week end) No one will EVER convince me these are just normal bikers out for a good time.

most clubs will leave 'average' citizens alone, IF you leave them alone

although if they are in your campground, you may fine the noise level and traffic a bit annoying

me i would sit back and watch
Hi, The above is mostly true. Some friends and I were camped in the overflow in Kennedy Meadows camped right next to the Mongels (sp?) and they were not only quiet (well except for the Harleys ๐Ÿ™‚ ) but also very respectful. We were concerned at first but when the ranger came through he told us that they do not bother anybody and once they leave it is one of the cleanest camps around.
Yep, that's the one. Lots of trails and camps up there.

A friend I've known for 15+ years -- her dad was a member of the local Banditos club. When he died, the funeral included members riding in front of the Procession ( with his wife on his bike). The after-party was at a local Ice House frequented by bikers.

Myself & some others had brought some food, which we were in the process of setting up in the Icehouse. I had brought some roasted whole chickens but forgot a knife to cut them up. When I "innocently" asked if anyone had a knife I could use, about 8 switchblades were popped open in my face all at once!

They were all just regular people mourning the loss of a brother that day. And each one of them made sure to thank us for all the food we brought.
