Hurricane Erika is no more

This morning Erika died near Cuba. Florida will only get rain. Some places in Florida do not need the rain.

Fred might be the first signifcant hurricane of the season, though life for it shorterm does not look good. See where Fred is in another 10 to 14 days.

This goes for the local stations as well. No reporting from the beach dressed in rain slicks getting buffeted by wind or pointing to downed limbs proclaiming "Storm Damage"!

Yeah, Dominica got his hard with the rain.

I mentioned the flooding aspect on another thread.

Some of the spaghetti models predict it's going to miss Florida altogether.

It wasn't the Wind that did the most damage in PR and Dominica, it was the massive amounts of rain!! In addition what is left of the storm is headed out over warm water and has the chance to regain strength.
