I could be at work. First day of our three day weekend and I nearly t-bone some dumb arse who pulls out in front of us, thtank God the breaks worked great. Okay, get over that get to campground and yes our favorite spot is available. Backed in perfect first try, yeah baby.
All is great, lets go swimming in the beautiful Lake Martin. Three steps down the embankment and bam I slip and there goes my ruptured L3 disc. No problem ill just take me anti inflammatory and pain med, never mind its 2 hours away at home. So here I lay playing on my tablet for the next two days hoping the swelling will go down so I can enjoy the lake.

Oh well, a bad day camping is still better than a good day at work. I'm done whining now. Happy camping.

Thanks everyone back is feeling better today. I decided I'll drive to the marina and watch the boats. Go out to out van, wife came late yesterday, sit done and seat was wet, she left the sunroof opened last night and of course it rained. Oh well, marina was beautiful, amazing how fast those fishing boats go. Again, thanks everyone for your compassion. Happy camping.

Hey, understand.

I won't go into detail but last year we had so many things go wrong with the truck and 5er refer at 150 miles from home on the first day of a 42 day planned - with reservations - trip to CO and UT we had to cancel and return home.

Sorry about meds - from a guy with two major back surgeries.

But, like a friend once said - I count each day a blessing I don't wake up with a toe tag!

Yeah - sounds like you're not having any good luck and hope that changes.

Regarding your meds that are home - can't you call your insurance carrier and get authorization for an emergency refill at a local pharmacy if there's one available?

Not too smart on your part to leave them however.
