It seems like there is less and less posted here lately. Don't know why but it seems kind of dead. I'll check in from time to time but this site likely won't be on my daily list any longer.
I am NOT a mechanic although I do play one in my garage!

I check in here from time to time and there is not much new. The other RV forums that I frequent are very very busy.

Participation had been slowly declining for years. I still visit regularly and always start by clicking newest (threads started within the last 24 hours). Used to bring up 8-10 pages of new threads year round. Now 2 pages max. And doesn’t matter if winter or prime summer travel season.
Many individual brands now have Facebook pages and many people seem to prefer that. I don’t know why though.

Numerous ongoing Forum error messages that apparently aren't being addressed or at least publically I'm sure is keeping many members from participating. Not sure what the problem is and really confused as to why no one in authority is commenting on this problem.

Well there is this thing called the "FORUMS ERROR PAGE" and many of us have having serious issues with it. Of the roughly six forums I read only two worked this pass.

Rumor has it management is working on it..

Social media is taking the place of these forums. Facebook has very active groups with the focus on just about every manufacturer, type of RV, camping activity, and locations to camp. And posting a picture on Facebook is simple. Why stay here?

Ah man, I hate to see a neighbor go.
FWIW, I spent most of my youth growing up in Redmond. Even went to "the Old Redmond school house" as a 5th and 6th grader.

Hard to blame you though. Not only is it dying, it just isn't very friendly either.

I find this forum still worth reading daily.
In contrast the BC RV forum out of British Columbia is practically dead. I read it once or twice in 6 months and often my previous posts are the most recent. BCRV went through two host changes - to Tapatalk - and away from it. That is upsetting. Thank goodness RV.net is stable and independent of for profit hosts. And free of politics.

Let’s keep on encouraging new posters and all those who help others!

Time of year has a lot to do with it!
I am suprised that I haven't seen more posts on winterizing.
Looking out my back window, I do not seen as many of the Canadians headed south for winter. Less posts on snowbirds!
