It seems like there is less and less posted here lately. Don't know why but it seems kind of dead. I'll check in from time to time but this site likely won't be on my daily list any longer.
I am NOT a mechanic although I do play one in my garage!

could be one of the reasons right there

It absolutely is.

It is one thing to disagree from time to time, and have spirited debates. And I have. But never to the point of losing respect. Several times I found during the debates, that I was wrong, and learned something. Disagreeing is not the problem.
Just being plain mean is a problem.

The reason I come here is to learn, and to sometimes educate. I thought that was what it was for.

Yep ... whenever I can get the Internet while camped out and about in the RV. Right now the Internet is barely available here at Lake of the Woods and the outside Oregon temperatures at ~5K ft altitude are pretty low to be enjoying much nature.

Social media is taking the place of these forums. Facebook has very active groups with the focus on just about every manufacturer, type of RV, camping activity, and locations to camp. And posting a picture on Facebook is simple. Why stay here?

I sure hope social media doesn't replace great forum sounding boards like this!!

I refuse to get involved with media like Facebook until they get rid of the crazy hacking and baloney information that can show up there - which probably isn't going to happen as long there is a profit motive involved.

Uh, you just posted on a thread where basically you have nothing helpful to say. Wow, what do you do when you are bored?

You said it. Some members here have become hateful and sarcastic.

Seems like so many topics are repeats, like we've covered most things.

I also don't particularly care for the censorship on this and other forums.

I check in on a daily basis, I don't find a lot that directly pertains to my style of rv'ing but still enjoy the stories and can relate to a lot of the technical problems. I had a problem with error messages and gave up for a few months but everything seems good now. There, now I have jinxed myself:B

I find this forum still worth reading daily.
In contrast the BC RV forum out of British Columbia is practically dead. I read it once or twice in 6 months and often my previous posts are the most recent. BCRV went through two host changes - to Tapatalk - and away from it. That is upsetting. Thank goodness RV.net is stable and independent of for profit hosts. And free of politics.

Letโ€™s keep on encouraging new posters and all those who help others!

Iโ€™d argue that the agent format of this forum that causes all the errors mentioned below has a lot to do with the activity (or lack there of) here.

Numerous ongoing Forum error messages that apparently aren't being addressed or at least publically I'm sure is keeping many members from participating. Not sure what the problem is and really confused as to why no one in authority is commenting on this problem.

X2 I always enjoyed reading this forum...but, with the error situation I am no longer following as close as I did. What a pain!!! You would think the moderators/managers would be sensitive to these problems.
