Come back from the boat ramp and this was parked in our camp area. That's our site's fire ring.



Parking along the road is expected on a holiday weekend. But why bother with that? Pulling right in is easiest!

This is quite a nice corps of engineers park. Decent sized sites... All 50 amp... $20 a night. That's why we love this place.

In the first picture your fire ring is to the left of the tree….
On the unkempt part of the site, is that not another fire ring with grass growing up through it to the right of the tree in the same picture just off of the mowed area??? Just wondered because that’s what it looked like to me…

Just wondered because I have been to a park that had large sites but they used some of the in between space for overflow parking on busy weekends mostly for tents and small trailers…

Looks like they're visiting our neighbors for the day. We saw (from a distance - we were gathering our anchors from the shoreline) them leave with the neighbors and their boat.

Did you ever have the opportunity to talk to the interloper? It looks like some one may have just parked there to get access to the lake. What ever, you sure have a nice looking site with ample room. I too would not want some one infringing on my site for any reason.

Only one fire ring. It's the same one... And they can't be moved, they anchored well.

Irritates me because that's where we were playing washers yesterday.

I considered contacting the camp host. I doubt they'll do anything considering how crowded it is. I will give the owner a bit of time before intake any action.

I just sometimes get a chuckle from the many "can you believe what they did....?" threads we often get here on this forum... Just figured something like this might be a first!

Maybe someone moved your fire ring over on another site… there is what looks like another (second) fire ring just ahead of the drivers side of the (first pic) vehicle…

Have the park ranger come by and take a look. I bet they will have a way to help.

Contact the Camp Host, I would imagine they have the right to have vehicles towed if they are not parked as they should be.
