Does anyone know if you can replace just the hose section with a standard hose you can find almost anywhere or is the hose itself a special one?

sorry to derail the thread...

how long does it take you to "dump" with one of these ?

have no idea, I start it up and finish other chores.
I don't consider black tank dumping to be a race.

It's good that you have chores to do while using your macerator because you will need something to do to pass the time away.
Maybe a good time to wax the entire RV and cut the lawn....and the neighbors lawn...:B

If it's anything like their other flexseal products, it would be cheaper to buy two replacement hoses. The tape probably won't even stick to itself.

Cut off the bad part.

A 10' extension is $16 at Walmart and a complete new 15' set up is $30.

A macerator is over $200 and is slow and can jam and requires maintenace every so often. And you still have a poop hose; its just a smaller diameter.

I carried a spare hose replacement for years and finally someone stepped on my 6 year old rinoflex hose a literally flattened it. I just screwed the fittings on to the new hose section and was back in business. Now who was that that walked that close to my rig?

As said, you can replace just the hose. I have done it twice over the years., but the last time I found that buying the hose only from Amazon was just a couple of dollars less than buying the complete kit at my local Wally World. It was in stock locally so I just got it there. So....just double check the pricing before you make your decision.

Yes it can be replaced,Amazon has it I had to do it. The cheap ones don't fit the end fittings.
