Motor home insurance rates

Looking at a $210,000 motor home - new. Credit score is great, no wrecks or tickets. What insurance rates are you people paying for a year on your motor homes? I could have put this in the motor home section but I thought there would be more response if I posted here.

Thanks!

Rates will be all over the place as you've seen. $800 to $1800, depends on unit description, usage and coverage selected then on top of that each state's rates are different.

Even rates *within* a state can be (dramatically) different - by city or county.

Rates are gonna vary because there are different variables and rates are different depending in where people live.

we do not full time. I've had State Farm since I was 16 and just beginning to drive. all of our vehicles are insured by State Farm as is our home so we have a multi-vehicle discount. we also maintain a $1-million dollar umbrella liability policy.

we do not have replacement coverage on the MH (2000 Itasca Suncruise 35U). liability coverage is $100,000/$300,000; property damage is $50K, medical payments $25K, $500 deductible collision, $0 deductible comprehensive; uninsured motor vehicle $100,000/$300,000; underinsured motor vehicle $100,000/$300,000. premium is $405 per year.

be sure you compare apples to apples when shopping.

Progressive since 2004 right at $800. a year. Yours will be higher since I assume it's a Class A. Mine includes complete replacement coverage too.
