Name That TT !!!

Family friend is wanting to buy the TT, looking to get it for $1,000. No idea what the rest of it looks like but they want to fix it up.

There is no title, no Vin on tongue and no info as to what brand or year this could be.

So I am calling on all the "Classic TT" experts out there please help with info.

Check with the Tin Can Tourists. Nevertheless $1,000 is too much, go for about half that amount.

At best he'll end up with a bed on wheels. I see NO water, electric, or sewer hookups. It is a tent on wheels. IF it's towable as is, not worth over $500.

Yup, I once had a homemade TT once too. Back in the day you could order a kit from a magazine and build your own. The title even listed it as a Homemade. You should be bale to do something similar to this one to register it.

If your friend wants to tackle the project let him. Just so he knows that it will not be easy.

That looks homemade. I had one back in in late 60’s it was slightly smaller. I bought it from the guy who built it. Since they are so similar, my guess is they were a kit.

It's the roof and wall framing that everyone is referring to. I suppose it has an aluminum roof, which is great. 1/4" glass is cheap. Does it have holding tanks?

I don't believe this is a Shasta ...

Shasta trademark appearance (all or some of the below):
> Small fins attached to both sides high up on the the rear side panels.
> Wheel wells exposing most of the tire.
> Front body panel covered the leading edge of the frame.
> Front window much wider than shown in the photo.

I'm not sure the make and model would be of any real practical use to your friend. It's not as though there's going to be any factory support anymore, nor are there likely to be great differences in construction for that style of trailer.

Crawl under it. The VIN may be on the frame somewhere. That's probably a Shasta.
