I saw that ad too.
Do some price comparisons on your unit and other Silverbacks and price accordingly. Then ad your truck as something that can go with for an extra cost. The high dollar for a Silverback will scare most away.

I just got on rvtrader and there were several 2012s on there for sale for $30,000 range, but there is one in Naples, FL for $65,000. That might be the reason it hasn't sold. That does include the tow vehicle, but you have to read the description to see that. If the buyer sees that price, most are going to go on to the next one without even stopping to read whether that includes the the TV.

Just my $.02 worth.

OP is in Naples. Didn't say anything at all about having the rig in any other location now, recently or in the past. How did hurricane comments and inferences come about?

If the two posters who have hurricane comments were concerned about H. Matthew. I too live in Naples. I didn't have more than a 10th of an inch of rain. Probably 50% or more sun. Nice light, 5-10 mph occasional breezes. I live on the water. Zero surge. Naples was expected to be and in fact turned out to be the quiet corner of the state. Every hotel from Naples to Ft Myers and a bit north was 100% filled with evacuees from the eastern side of the state. The marinas were filled to overflow with boats from the other side of the state as were our air fields filled with private air craft of every sort.

If OP's rig has been in Naples at all times for the past 5+ years, it would not be possible for it to have hurricane damage.

look for a fair minded "sell on consignment" dealer.

No hurricane problems and title is free and clear. My heart does not permit me to travel anymore and I will miss it.
Both truck and RV are in excellent condition.
Both are available for inspection. RV is in an RV park.

Bring it to a couple dealers..take what you can get for the trailer. They are not always easy to sell. It could take a year or two to get rid of it and you won't get what you think it's worth. The truck will be easier to get out of. CL or wholesale it to a car dealer and be done with it.

Exactly what I was thinking, needs to sell it before the damage becomes obvious.

Craigslist is the obvious choice for private party sales.
Since you asked, you prolly don't know anything about CL.
Nothing wrong with it, but just don't respond to weird inquiries or too good to be true deals.
You'll have to deal with a few flakes, but that's not a huge deal. Just don't fall for scams.
To be safe, only person to person deals and verify funds.
If the buyer can't roll with cash then I wouldn't do the deal anywhere other than at THEIR bank.
You'll get less flakes with an expensive truck and RV.
IMO sell the RV first unless you get a pkg deal buyer. Truck will sell in 5min anyway if it's good shape and not out of line in price.

Another question to answer is are you upside down or under water... do you owe more than Blue Booked values it at? If so your cash is going to be needed to payoff whatever the buyer does not cover.

Best in what respect ?

If getting the top dollar out of it is most important, then there is one answer.

If minimum hassle and making a quick sale is more important, then you get a different answer.

Almost any dealership that handles used units will buy it from you or sell it on consignment but that usually means that you will get LESS than fair wholesale price.

And I think that Florida isn't necessarily a good place to sell a used unit. A really LOT of them end up here because of circumstances very similar to yours.

Good luck.

just slip away into a final sleep.
