About having a camper in the backyard. when something in the house gives up. All you got to do is plug in the camper, and you have another one until you get the house one fixed.

The microwave / range hood in the house broke. So now we can use the microwave in the TT until we get the MAN over to fix the one in the house.

When bad weather looks imminent, I fill it up with water, charge the batteries, gas for the genny and truck-and head for higher ground! Also good when little storms knock the power out for a bit.

Also-when family stays over, we all fight over who gets to stay in the TT.

Same here, we use it for parties, etc, as an extra kitchen.

We lost power a few years ago when we had snow in October and lost power for 5 days. Ran the genny and hooked up an extension cord to power minimal stuff, including the fan for the gas stove. Our neighbors were sooooo jealous! That's one of the things I miss about having an RV-BACKUP!

We gutted and remodeled the kitchen in our stick house a few years back. Meals were in the HTT we had at the time.

Yep... Last week our dishwasher in the house broke. No dishwasher in the camper, but I did borrow the dish drainer. And then I ran out of dishwashing liquid and had to bring that in too.

All back to normal now and all restocked. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just spent the night in our coach because the smoke alarm that is installed at the 32 foot level on the wall started chirping. Had to wait until the next day for the fire department to come out and change the battery
