RhinoFLEX sewer hose fitting leak

I have 2 sections of RhinoFLEX sewer hose with the removable ends. I have had leak problems with these fitting and it is driving me nuts.

Everyone seems to like Rhino Flex and they seem simple enough to use. I have taken them apart and reattahed them without a long term solution.

Anyone else have/solve this problem?

Awesome! Glad its working so far and hope it holds up. Thanks for the update. Just a note if it does begin to leak some. The white lithium spray is fairly "thin" or not very viscous. The actual grease is going to last longer. Or vaseline as an alternative. Happy non-lnon-leaky camping!

Take the fitting off, run some vaseline (or white lithium grease) around the end of the hose and the threads of the fitting. Reattach.

Also, check and clean the large rubber washer. You cam pick up replacement sets on amazon for cheap.

I've given up on Rhino Hose and switched to the Valterra Viper (I think that is the name) as their connections are sealed and don't leak. Use a Clear section at the RV tie in then Valterra for the rest of the connection.

I think I have their ends on a sewer host and they leak at the gasket, like it is not thick enough. Chris

Try trimming off a few inches and putting the end back on. If that don't do it replace it.

I concur with this procedure, plus recommend making sure the rubber gasket inside the connection is clean and free of warps, twists, or obstructions.
