What have you found to help make the drive more comfortable? I have found gel cushions at Costco & Camping world. The ones at Camping world look like the ones advertised on TV. Any winners? Thanks!

My lower legs have started to swell the last couple of years and I don't know why. I haven't changed my driving habits from day one. I tried cushions too but nothing helps. Good luck to you.

Have air ride seats in Dynamax so I can adjust height so my feet ride flat on floor with no pressure . I have a bad back from splitting fire wood so I know what you mean when it comes to riding long distance with not the right back support.

The main issue is the back of my legs, probably varicose veins that just don't show on the outside. I also have some issue with my sciatic nerve from time to time. I do get out & walk around at least every 2 hours. I don't see how lumbar support (back joy or towel) will help with this... Will it? Thanks!

I do that as well, pretty much every time I stop for gas or pull into a rest area. Gives me a chance to walk around the 'C' and toad, looking at the tires, and towing gear. Found a safety chain that had unhooked itself once. Couldn't have been my fault. ๐Ÿ™‚

Walmart gel cushion and the towel trick combined makes for a pain free ride for me. BTW thanks for the towel tip! :W

I use one of these. Have found it helps with alignment and also I seem to do better sitting on a harder surface than a cushy surface...

I find that my butt doesn't bother me as much as my lower back after being in the same position for a long time. My simple solution was to take a bath towel, fold it in half length-wise, roll it up and put a couple of large rubber bands around it. Whatever it takes to make a roll that's about 4 inches in diameter.
When my lower back starts hurting, I slide that towel roll behind my back at about belt level. I sit up straighter, and it changes my spine angle. In a couple of hours, I remove it, which changes the angle back again.
I used to have a Ford Explorer that did the same thing by pushing a button that blew up a built in pillow in the lumbar area. My solution is a lot cheaper.
