Semi 5th wheels donโt have side tilt. Itโs more stable in crosswinds and buffeting from other vehicles. But semis generally arenโt concerned with trailer/truck frame flex. Pickups and 5vers arenโt designed as heavy duty and the mfgs are actually taking flex out of the truck frames and flexing tears apart an RV,slowly.
Having that option on a rv is a good thing, when you need it and a minor hindrance when you donโt want it. Thatโs why trailers that go off road more, like flat decks and stock trailers are GN. So they pivot.
