Turtle Wax ICE

Anybody using turtle wax ice on their rigs? It looks like a promising and easy to apply wax.

Fouberglass or metal? Decals?

I will add that if you get the white stains on black plastic from other wax, peanut butter will take them off. Put a little on your fingers and rub, then wash well.
Any Jeep Wrangler owner knows what I'm talking about with the stains on the fenders.
I use ICE on our Wrangler to avoid the stains.

I've read good stuff about ICE but never tried it. A lot of folks over at the Tundra forum use it and really like it. I use Nu Finish most of the time as it's economical and seems to work fine and hold up a long time. Anything from Mcguires is good too, I used a lot of their products.

I don't believe it is a wax. It is a polymer coating much the same as Nu-Finish and Rejex. It is also very much the same as the overpriced "Lifetime" paint sealant that you pay hundreds for on a new car or trailer. Even though it is touted as a lifetime coating it needs to be "checked" and re-applied every year...Lifetime???..it should work as good as any of the polymer coatings. I have had very good luck with Rejex as well as the less expensive Nu-Finish..

I would reccomend Turtle Wax Ice on your rig. I don't use it on mine because I use http://www.corrosionx.com/rejex.html. Last time I reccomended it, no one responded so I just continue on my on. It is very easy to apply and last along time but so does Turtle Wax Ice, so I reccomend Turtle Wax Ice.

The manufacturer's website indicates it should work well on the vinyl graphics as well as the gelcoat sides. I'd love that since I wasn't excited about using different products on the graphics.

Of course, I've lived long enough to not believe everything a manufacturer claims.

I've used it on my vehicles and really like it. Easy to apply, and lasted longer than I expected.

I don't know that it is a substitute for a high quality wax unless maybe you do it often. I don't use it on my fifth wheel but do use it on my cars between waxes. It is really quick to apply and doesn't leave a white stain on any rubber or black plastic parts. Great for a quick once over on the old beast if I'm taking it to a show and shine.
