This is the second time I've heard of an RVer ignoring a flat on their trailer/toad.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

I use my monitor like a rear view mirror, I include it in my scans. I think I would notice that the trailer/toad is not rolling right.

So, 5,000 acres burned because the driver was too stupid or too stubborn to pull over...

I am sure the driver feels terrible. Probley did not know he had a problem. A sobering reminder to keep our tires in top shape.

"Ignoring a flat"? Or not even aware that they had a flat. With that size DP and that small of a trailer, it's entirely likely that didn't even notice any extra drag. A bit more attention to the mirrors and/or rear view monitor might have helped though.

X2!

That was local news here, looked like tire, wheel, and hub ground flat!!! Laid sparks for like 26 miles, really didn't look in passenger side mirror that whole time!!

That tops This Idiot.

And I thought that was bad, just dragging a truck.

How do you not see sparks flying off your rig?
