Leaving tomorrow for a week at Lake Texoma for some R & R with old friends. We've not been out since Easter weekend so I'm looking forward to it! Can you tell?

We used to travel to Texas every summer and we would fish on that lake with my dad and my uncle Jack.
Both are gone now.

Wish I had a week, but we're heading out in about an hour for 4 days, but we all do what we can. 😉

Can you see my green face? We haven't been out since the first week in March. We went to the Mobile area and almost froze! Our motorhome is being serviced in Red Bay and we are anxious to bring it home and leave town as soon as possible!

In June it was Mustang Island State Park for a 4-day weekend, in July it will be up to Cedar Hill State Park for a niece's 7th birthday.

We are so fortunate in Texas, so may great parks, so little vacation time (for some of us!) with which to enjoy them.
