Well, of course we need a photo of Lassie. I like that you respect her personality quirks, her limitations AND her strengths. She's one lucky girl.

Lassie turned 14 this January making her the oldest Collie I have ever had. Her hips are giving her a little problem and her site is not what it use to be. Lassie does sleep more in the house and not as active but otherwise is doing fine.
Lassie received a bath (71F today) and had a slice of pizza afterwards.
I adopted Lassie when she was 5 years old from Denton TX humane society right after Neal passed from cancer. Lassie is different from most Collies in the fact she does not like strangers. I gave her the nick name the (( Librarian )). Neighbors call her a female dog name. She does not let Bud or Mikko play or run in the house. She never learned to play, her job was to produce puppies until they were done with her.

Give Lassie a Happy Birthday hug for me! How sweet she has such a nice forever home. Maybe Lassie knows better about the neighbors. You have her for a reason.
