Early morning

It's 5:30am, and I'm just sitting here at the computer, having my first cup of coffee, and listening to my pug snore. What a comforting sound to me today.

We have a dog that snores and a cat that snores. Sometimes it's in harmony and other times its syncopated. Could almost polka to it ๐Ÿ˜‰

My dogs readily get up at 6:15 during the week and a little later on weekends, but at 10:00 p.m. Jake's at the slider ready to do his business and go to bed. Jake is a snorer in such a way that I think he's channeling Toby, the bloodhound we used to have (and still miss horribly). I find comfort in knowing that he is with us just in another form.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be

Actually you are right. He doesn't wake my wife up wanting to go outside. He waits for her! And that is very good. :B

How curious dogs are. My two want to go to bed after Jeopardy. I will get the 'look' if I turn a light on after 9PM! But, they are usually starting to rouse by 6:30, (breakfast).

Our Chihuahua is NOT a morning dog. Get him up before 9:00 a.m. and he "mopes" around,will not eat, and jut stands there with his head hanging down.

Open the door to the bedroom and he is GONE---- back to bed!

ahh...sigh....looking forward to that 9 day trip in August where I will be able to sit, enjoy my coffee with my dogs at my feet and just let my mind wonder and enjoy the sounds around me... THANKS GUYS for putting a bright spot in my morning and a smile on my face.

I wish I had gotten to drink my coffee this morning.:(

Instead I put it down to go outside for a minute and the dog drank it all! Now I've got a dog bouncing off the walls from the caffeine. It's going to be a long morning till he comes down from it!

I was doing about the same thing one morning on a camping trip. Then I looked over and it was the wife doing the snoring instead of the dogs haha...

It was indeed a nice day... I love my early morning rituals when camping...
