We Full Timed with a 68# Border Collie/Lab mix for 7 yrs. We ALWAYS checked 'pet restrictions' either on websites, phone calls, emails. IF NO....we looked elsewhere. Never DIDN'T find a spot for the evening.

Sorry that it's making your RVing experiences difficult for you. Dobies, rotties and pitbulls all have bad raps, so many times it's the owner who should be banned.

Stephanie, if it's all in one city I suspect it's a city ordinance more so than the campgrounds themselves. My suggestion would be to go to the Campgrounds/Attractions forum and post that you are looking for a cg in the area you need but have the dobie. Someone familiar with the area can at least offer campground suggestions-at that point you can call/go to their website and find out if there are restrictions.
