16 oz propane refill

who if anyone does the refill your own 16 oz propane cylinder? In advance, just opinions, comments, concerns, experience, etc. I am thinking about filling my own. So blast me with your thoughts and experience. Thanks in advance, Good Luck & Be Safe ! ! !

I have been doing it for years, Main thing is, as stated put the 16 OZ bottle in the freezer. Worth the small expense for the adapter.

I do my own refills. I bought a valve from "shnozzle" that does just that.I hook the valve up to my propane grill tank 30#, get the 16 oz empty bottle ice cold in the freezer. Hook the ice cold empty to the fitting on the bigger outside temp tank it fills it. I have had no issues doing it this way.
