ANDERSEN LEVELERS ?

These Andersen trailer levelers were mentioned in a thread recently. Checked them out online. Anyone using these and how do you like them? Says it can raise your trailer up to four inch's. Clever design. Any trouble comming off of them? My HTT is light and have used lego type blocks for years but they do slide on some surfaces and do not always guess correctly as to how many are needed. Any thoughts?

Now why didn't I think of this? The close axles is the exact reason that I rarely use mine. I guess I have an afternoon project.

They work great though I wish I would have purchased the taller one's, I think they are around 6" tall, as sometimes the 4" ones just aren't enough. My trailer is a lot more stable when I use them and set the chock type blocks with a rubber mallet under the levelers, they seem to help take out the tire wiggle.

As far as I can find the levelers only come in one size 4". Andersen also makes a "Rapid Jack" which is similar to the leveler but somewhat higher. Looks like it is also longer so fitting it between the tires might be a problem.

I would swear that when I purchased mine there was a 6" version but maybe I was looking at the Rapid Jack and didn't know any better at the time? I looked around the internet trying to prove you wrong only to figure out that I'm wrong. Guess there's a first time for everything.

Yeah, I was also wrong one time. I have a set of the levers and love them. I also bought one of the Rapid Jacks but have not used it. I haven' checked to see if it is longer than the levelers and right I am stove up with a bad foot so can't go to the trailer to check

Adding a giant bubble level to the mix truly makes it a one-man job. (or one woman...) I LOVE them.

Love mine, should add some sort of board on sandy soil because they seem to sink. No problems otherwise. My wife watches the level and tells me when to stop. Much better than stacking things for level.

I use them and they really are a one man job.I mounted my large level on the drivers side front of the 5 er.I can see it and know when to stop as the bubble moves to level,or just a little high on the slide side as it tips that way when we put the slide out.they are well worth the price of admission.:B

I have an old popup that is cranky if it isn't level (pun intended). I wish I had bought Anderson's years ago. Much easier and quicker to get level than blocks or boards. I'm only dealing with one axle so if you have dual axles it will be more work.

A set is for 1 tire its 2 pieces, a leveler and a chock that supports the leveler once the tire is on it. Double axle trailer will require 2 sets.

Here is what you get with 1 set.http://www.amazon.com/Andersen-Mfg-3604-Andersen-3604-Leveler/dp/B001GC2LVM

Each wheel takes two pieces right? So you guys are raising each axle right? To you buy two sets or ? Can't figure how many pieces come in a set. Think I may give em a try.

I ordered a set and used them once and found them a bit difficult to get the level right on, of course this was in a loose sandy soil so that may have been part of the problem. I haven't used them since.

Maybe adding a level for side to side that is visible while I back up will help. My wife didn't seem to like using my level on the side of the trailer, like their videos show online.

I usually roll up on mine all the way with the wife watching the tires and telling me when to stop so I don't fall off the blocks. Wife then walks around to the levels and tells me when to stop as I pull down the blocks and the trailer levels out. If I'm by myself I just eyeball the trailer as I pull on the blocks and get out and check a couple times.

When you put them in, and start backing up on them, what is your setup to know when you are level? I can't see my level and back up at the same time.
