I need to replace carrier bearings on 1999 Holiday Rambler. Called HR and they say they don't have info on part number. Other than taking old ones off, any suggestions on getting the part numbers>

If you have a drive shaft shop in your area, try them. There are a couple shops in my town that do this type of work and sell the carrier bearings much cheaper than the dealers. Fleet Pride is one that comes to mind that I have used, $50 for my carrier bearing vs. over $100 from the dealer, they can press them on for you also.

The bearing number should be on the bearings on the cup and cone.

Looks like you have a choice of 2 different bearings. You'll need to measure the shaft or bore size to get the correct bearing. As already noted, the carrier bearing is part of the chassis as delivered by Ford.

I would let the shop doing the work worry about it. That's what they do. Asking the question suggests one shouldn't try this themselves.

There should be a tag under one of the mounting or cover bolt heads. And probably info stamped into the passenger side axle tube. Then gOOgle for "Dana Axle Codes." You'll get info and start seeing part suppliers.

I learned many years ago to not leave for the parts house w/o having the old part w/ you.
