I have a 1998 Rockwood Ultra lite.

It has an electric jack. What are my options for when the battery is dead?

Happened with my son-in-laws dad on last camping trip, jack failed,no tool. He opened up the top as others have said and we found a socket with extension that fit and a ratchet and we were in business.

Every brand is different, but usually there is a plug you remove to access some sort of fitting to crank it manually with a socket wrench.

Usually there's some kind of cover you can take off the top and insert a tool to turn them by hand. The tool should have come with the jack.
