Does anybody have this little dc/dc converter?

I bought it after a link was posted here. I want to use it now but forgotten its spec. It's a great converter, operating in either constant voltage or constant current. The display outputs input voltage, output current, voltage and power.

What's the maximum input voltage and output current it can handle?

You can buy it with a case as well, although it will need heat mitigation if working over 3 amps. If I did a 24 VDC system, I'd probably use one of these so I could step the voltage down to 12 VDC for a refrigerator (assuming the fridge doesn't have a 24 volt option.)

I could use another dozen of these guys for my 10 watt 10 volt LED projects 🙂

Every DROK bucker or booster I have purchased (perhaps 20+) have worked flawlessly and knock on wood none have come back for warranty.

Thanks!

They say it's good for 5A. Not sure about that. The 3-character display unit is rated at 3A.

The LM2596 spec states 3A max.

I have something similar that is voltage bucker only. I use it on a 180mm computer fan whose hub gets too hot at maximum speed and 13+ volts/ I limit it to 11 volts.

It has been in operation nearly continuously for over a year.

is there a boost for low DC voltage? like there is with AC 10% or 20%

Sure would be nice to compensate for voltage drop to my trailer brakes.

Looks like a DROK product. It's probably an older product so some data mining might be necessary.
