By the way, if the clip does not stay on the fin, you can tighten it with a Clam Clip, binder clip, paper clip, or any number of products found in office supply stores.

If it is the thermistor, there should be a white clip on one of the fins that it goes into. Generally goes on the farthest to the right fin or next to it. Up position makes the refer colder and lowering it warmer.

Should be a plastic bracket that fits onto the cooling fins,the end of the "cord" fits in, the bracket, sliding the bracket up or down controls the refrigerator temperature.
