Using 1800w blow dryer with a/c on, I'm thinking no? TT has 30a service.
Thanks!

You know, I had 30 amp service in my last trailer and had lots of problems with the breakers. I was going to install a male type receptacle coming into the trailer and plug the 20 amp service to it so I could run other stuff, like another heater in the bedroom during the cold periods (rare but we do get some). But, know what? When running satellite into the front bedroom which didn't have a satellite receptacle I found out how ridiculously easy it is just to run a cord in through the slide out seals. That's something you could easily do with an extension cord, pull the slide out in just a little, slide a cord through, put the slide back out and no more worries about blowing the breakers. Sure, you have an extension cord to snake around but......

Wow! Thanks for all the replies! I suppose being that it looks questionable, it would just be better turning it off for the 10 minutes or so that I would be using the dryer. Thanks again, you folks are the best!

Not the case in mine - 4 showers in one night, one after another, 4 hair dryer cycles. I'm reasonably sure the water heater heating at the time.

WH and hair dryer, marginal but should be ok on 30A.

WH,Hair dryer, AC unless the WH is not the normal 1500W element, I would expect 30A breaker to trip

AC 13A
WH 15A
hair dryer 12-15A

total is well above 30A.

Now with a 50 A service, should be no problem

Hair dryer on max, plus a/c on max, plus elec water heater (running because shower just finished) plus fridge on max. No problem here.

However, you cannot run another appliance at same time as hair dryer. For example, in winter, have to turn off the electric heater before kicking on hair dryer.

You shouldn't have any problem. The current does't add up to more than 30 amps.

I use mine all the time on full heat and high speed with no problem. We do have 30amp. Refer is on propane, but air does kick in. Guess you should be prepared to reset the breaker and then you will know for sure!

They will both pull close to 15 amps each. But the only thing that will happen is you may have to reset the breaker.

Hmmm... never gave a thought to the hair dryer tripping breakers. I've run our hair dryer with the a/c & fridge running and never had a problem. We have 30 amp.

1800 watts about 14 amps
RV AC about 12 to 14 amps
so, these 2 appliances will be about 26 to 28 amps
Your refer pulls 3 amps
Your Power Converter pulls about 1 to 2 amps
So, you will be operating just over 30 amps and will probably trip the pedestal breaker. just turn the AC to Fan when operating the hair Dryer. Doug

Will probably trip the breaker. We always run a 120VAC drop cord in from the 20AMP service at the camp ground pedestal for these high wattage things... It has its own separate circuit breaker and won't trip the the 30AMP shore power cable breaker.

Just don't use the max heat setting. Water/fridge on propane.
