I broke the door glass on my microwave oven. It is the out side one not inside. Any one know where i cant get another glass? High point doesnt seem to care Thanks

I wish my High Point MW would fail so I'd have a good reason to replace it. What a piece of cr@p!

When our High Point MW quit on our trailer I looked at generic replacements but it seemed to me that RV MWs vent to the front and home ones vent to the back. We purchased a replacement unit with a different brand name but identical venting to match with the top front vent in our RV from a RV supply I found on the Internet. The cost was just a little more than a generic one from Walmart or Target.

IIRC our original MW was a High Pointe.
It died, and I found an almost exact replacement for it at Walmarts under the West Bend brand. ~$40-50

There is no such thing as a microwave made specially for RVs.
Find one that fits and replace it yourself.

The most expensive High Pointe microwave I see is a convection model for $185. Although they say it's designed for use in RV's, any microwave will work.

Take the microwave to your local glass shop and they might be able to cut you a piece to replace it. Though do you really want to spend $10 fixing a $30 microwave?

But I agree with the others that the appliances used in most RVs are the cheapest made in china **** they can find and are throw away items.

Agree with coolmom. We have the same microwave. I can't believe they could find something cheaper than WM but they did!
