i lost power to 3 electrical outlet, check the ground fault but that didn't power the outlets. Check the circuit breakers and they are on on, any other suggestion would be appreciated. Right now I have a double male supplying power to the three outlets. Is it possible I've have a broken wire?

Do you have power on the load side of the GFCI

Thanks to all that replied. Found a severed wire that was caught between the wall and slide, reconnected and it works fine, thanks again.

Wow, read the OPโ€™s post three times and eyes were pulled away from the dangerous last sentence by the moderators bold Red notice.

Yes dump the deadman cord!! Fix the issue most likely a bad connection.

Likely a defective GFI - when they go everything on that circuit shuts down. Check the GFI in the bathroom and kitchen area. Std GFI at any big box will be suitable replacement.

A power cord with 2 male plugs on it is a Deadman Cord. When you plug in one end, the other end is hot and can electrocute you!

The one time I absolutely HAD to use a Deadman Cord, I used a regular extension cord, then made the Deadman Cord about 6" long. I could plug the Deadman Cord into the dead outlet first then into the extension cord. That way, the other end of the Deadman Cord was never hot AND exposed. When that need was rectified, I threw away the Deadman Cord I had made.

When this happened to my BIL's trailer it was a tripped GFCI for the refrigerator. Went to the outside access hatch and reset the GFCI.

Had that happen to me also...no power to a couple of outlets...
Discovered that the wires had been severed when they got tangled and then pinched by the slide mechanism.

Spliced the wires back together....then some electrical tape and shrink tubing.

It could be the outlets on inverred power, so isolation switch or battery

Any chance there is a second GFCI?
