By the way - thanks for posting this info - our door lock has been squirrelly since day one! Almost got locked in once and have been locked out MORE than once!

Since my Fiesta is right in that age range I called them. They want to know the key number (a number actually ON the key) and they can then check if your door lock is part of the recall. I will be getting this and calling them back. The lady was super nice on the phone and said if the key number is in the range of the recalled units they will send out a replacement unit.

We had an issue once with what was described. I'll bet ours in on the list. Thanks for the heads-up.

2.9 million locks, that covers a lot of RVs. Very expensive for the manufacturer, but even more important is the start of some oversight in the RV industry. I am not a proponent of much of government intervention, but with the junk produced by the RV industry and then put on the highways, this is welcomed.

Thanks for the tip. I wonder if ours is one of them.
