Stuck Disc Brake Caliper - bearing repack

Howdy,
Had a frozen stuck caliper on the way home from NASCAR (NH) on
Sunday. Left it overnight and came back with rebuilt caliper, changed it and got it home. Now I want to replace the flex line, and repack the bearings and replace the seal. How does the dust cap come off? It is much deeper in the rotor/hub assembly then I have seen on earlier models. Does it still pry/pop off?

On our 2003 E450 it is also necessary to remove the caliper bracket in order to get the rotor off.

Hi, I just mean the cap to get to the spindle nut/cotter pin, to remove the rotor. I think it has been answered.

I know the caliper has to be off to get the rotor off. My objective, (in addition to replacing the caliper and flex hydraulic hose) is to re-pack the bearings and replace the grease seal since they were over heated and some of the grease leaked out.

Do you mean how to remove and replace the ROTOR? And brake line to caliper hose?
