What caulk for the Winegard antenna cable?

I'm repairing my Winegard Sensar antenna. The cable goes straight down through a fitting on the roof that is then covered with a boot. There was some kind of white caulk in there before. It was pretty easy to dig out, which I think was intentional. Anybody know what it is?

Dicor and silicone are incompatible. They will not stick to each other. Unless you have completely removed any trace of the previous caulk (which was likely Dicor) you want to make sure you are using the right caulk.

That is what I use as well. A silicone caulk with adhesive qualities helps keep the boot in place.

I use RTV Silicone. Put some in around the coax and some in the boot to slip down on the coax and protruding riser. The RTV is more solid when cured and helps prevent the cable from pulling off the boot when antenna is rotated. Good luck.

I dug around in the garage and found a couple tubes of Dicor. One self leveling and one not. The one that's NOT self leveling actually lists TV antenna as a recommended use. That's the one I'll be using.
