Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.
Enjoy everyones pics

It probably gets better mpg then a one ton pulling a comparable load. ??

Dave that thing is sitting to low in the rear I think som airbags maybe kneaded.

I bought the truck in Sept 2005.
I was in high school and dating the owners daughter when he bought it new in Aug '72.
It hadn't been driven since 1991 when I bought it.
I installed an intake and carb off a '66 390 GT, a 428 CJ cam, Hedman Hedders and a custom 3" exhaust.
It ran pretty good for an old truck.
Opened a business later on and needed the money for inventory. Sure wish I had kept it.

This may be the oldest tow vehicle here, i took this on a 300 mile round trip a few years back, the car is a 1954 Packard with a 1960's General trailer,, i did get some odd looks towing this,, as it would still pull at 65mph on the highway which is kinda scary since the car only has one braking system and no trailer brakes..
Never noticed this thread before, but that is a sweet setup. Love the tow mirrors on the fenders!
