Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.
Enjoy everyones pics

Thanks! I'm already inventing excuses to drive it. ๐Ÿ™‚ The Ride quality alone is amazing - to be fair the 2010 probably could have benefited from new shocks if we had decided to keep it.

As for towing. I've had my eyes opened - that really is all I can say.

Well - After 100+ K Miles on my 2010 F250 5.4 - trade in day finally arrived...

The old Blue Monster seemed to be getting a little tired and my oldest started to outgrow the back seat. I loved that truck though.

So now we've got a new-to-us 2017 F250 6.7 Diesel with 19K on the odometer... One "test" tow under my belt so far to check out the WD setup... Clean bill of health from my local Ford dealer... Heading on our maiden voyage up to Lake Erie in a couple of days for a long weekend. Here's praying we have the same great luck and service with the new "Silver Streak" as we did with our old friend the Blue Monster...

If your refereeing to my Pete, I get an average of 7.7mpg at any speed I want to drive it and go up mountains at speeds a hopped up one ton can only dream about. My truck with Smart Car on deck weighs 23K, the trailer loaded comes in at around 21K.

If you are referring to my Pete, I assume your joking, HDT's are setup with an automatic air leveling system to maintain the proper driveshaft angles regardless of load. I think the angle the photo was taken at makes it look like its sitting low in the rear.

This is my 2006 Sequoia, it serves as my 'work truck,' and tow vehicle. I've got it on craigslist, trying to find something with a bit more 'umph.'

I bought the truck in Sept 2005.

I was in high school and dating the owners daughter when he bought it new in Aug '72.

It hadn't been driven since 1991 when I bought it.

I installed an intake and carb off a '66 390 GT, a 428 CJ cam, Hedman Hedders and a custom 3" exhaust.

It ran pretty good for an old truck.

Opened a business later on and needed the money for inventory. Sure wish I had kept it.

This may be the oldest tow vehicle here, i took this on a 300 mile round trip a few years back, the car is a 1954 Packard with a 1960's General trailer,, i did get some odd looks towing this,, as it would still pull at 65mph on the highway which is kinda scary since the car only has one braking system and no trailer brakes..

Never noticed this thread before, but that is a sweet setup. Love the tow mirrors on the fenders!
thoseold 72s were the best i had 3 of them
