2014 RAM 2500 6.4 burning through tires

Hi all.
Want to get some opinions on this.
My 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 6.4 burned through the stock tires at 38,000kms (23,612mi).
I got pretty much from everyone that my driving was the culprit. For the record,
I drive like a grandma and even my wife gets annoyed by that.
I purchased (on reccomendation of the tire shop) Goodyear Duratrac tires.
9,000kms(5592mi) in on them, and the front wheels outer tread is ROUNDED. Like REALLY rounded. The engine side of both tires is fine.
I take the truck to the dealership and they suggest I need an alignment. Which I would like
to trust them until the guy said "Oh these 6.4 are famous for doing that to front tires".
So just like that, all credibility out the window. But I thought I would check here.

Is it possible that out of the cummins, the 5.7 and the 6.4 that only the 6.4 wrecks tires?

Any other suggestions would be great!
Thanks

I don't have the axle weights...

36k on the truck in my sig and I had to replace my OE Firestones and that includes having two winters of snow tires. I don't think I got 30k out of them. My wife drives mostly highway with it and tires were rotated.

I tend to believe there is a relationship between tire life and what the factory decides to ship the truck with (cheapest possible tires)...

I was lucky to get 10k out of the stock Firestone AT. Got 25k out of a set of coopers. Just put another set of cooper's on a couple months ago. No abnormal wear on either set.

Factory specs for toe in is 1/4". Should be 1/32 and castor at 3.7 to 4.5 deg. Ask at turbo diesel register. Com.

Get to the alignment shop. I get 53,000 miles or so from a set of tires on my Ram and have the heavy diesel up front.

Different animal but my 06 Ram with the Cummins would round over front end tires on both inside and outsides. Lot of mountain driving though.

Find a competent alignment shop and get it fixed. My '15 6.4 does not eat tires on the front. They will be shot by 25k miles, but not because of a bad alignment.

Never heard of a gas burner eating tires. Must be something new.
BTW my OE tires were junk by 30K miles. Tires on wifes car lasted 23K miles and were done. Now, couple questions. Tread design? 4X4 or 4X2? Scaled weight on front and rear axles? How much off pavement driving do you do?
BTW, find a good alignment shop and have them go over it. NOT the dealership, but someone who specalizes in alignment work.

I have a 2012 4x4 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn with 6.7 Cummins. Never had that weird wear problem. IMHO, you need your alignment checked ASAP. I have 37,000 miles on mine, rotate regularly, alignment on the slightest indication of unusual wear. Big heavy truck will kill tires quickly.
